It started out as mainly lead and tin based die casting parts primarily used for the manufacture of metal types used in the offset printing process. Other metals such as aluminium, zinc, and magnesium were soon used in the die casting process. Die casting parts were also expanded to cover not only the printing industry but other industries like sports equipment, automotive parts, electronics components, and telecommunication parts as well.     The zinc die casting process is not any different from die casting processes involving other metals.
