Die Casting Part Sizes and Die Casting Part Weights we have made:

Smallest part we have made is 0.25 inches by 0.25 inches for BK Lighting Company weighing a few grams

Largest part we have made is 17 inches by 14 inches for Pioneer Roofing Tile Company weighing 8 pounds.

Die Casting Production Quantity:

Lowest quantity of parts shipped to Parker-Hannifin Corp. FSD of ten (10) parts on purchase order.

Highest quantity of parts shipped for pump housings of over 450,000 parts in a year.

Production Parts Delivery:

Purchase Order (PO) receipt to production shipment in less than 4 weeks.

Expedite to less than a week is possible.

Transfer tool to KDC for production in 4 weeks or less is typical.

{New Post} Groundhog Day 2017

Feb 2, 2017 – This day is celebrated each year on February 2nd. Groundhog Day was a traditional day used to forecast the remaining winter weather.

Happy Groundhog Day

According to folklore, if it is cloudy when a groundhog emerges from its burrow on this day, then spring will come early; if it is sunny, the groundhog will supposedly see its shadow and retreat back into its burrow, and the winter weather will persist for six more weeks. This fun tradition does not accurately predict the weather, but fun, all the same.

Our customers, all of them manufacturers, are on the leading edge of any change in our American economy. Most of our customers are preparing for growth rather than recession in 2017. Kinetic Die Casting Company is preparing and we are taking steps to handle the growth we expect to see in 2017.

{New Post} Toyota Hiring 400 Jobs in Indiana

On Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2017, Toyota said it will add 400 jobs. Toyota on Tuesday announced plans to invest $600 million and add 400 new jobs to its auto plant in Princeton, Ind. The project, which includes retooling as well as new equipment and advanced technology, is scheduled to begin in late 2019. It will enable the southwestern Indiana facility to manufacture an additional 40,000 additional Highlander SUVs per year. The Princeton facility churned out a record 400,000 Highlanders last year, company officials said. “The Highlander has been a great vehicle for our plant and we are excited to deliver even more of them to our loyal customers,” Toyota Indiana president Millie Marshall said in a statement.

Numerous auto parts manufacturers and automakers made investments in U.S. plants in recent months in an effort to bolster production of trucks and SUVs, which have higher profit margins and are selling well amid low gas prices and improved fuel efficiency.

Some vehicle makers are also shifting production of lower-margin small cars into Mexico, which drew repeated criticism from President Donald Trump. The Princeton project is part of $10 billion in planned investments in Toyota’s U.S. plants over the next five years.

{New Post} California Die Casting Congress 2017

January 18-19, NADCA is excited to announce the first ever California Congress at the Hilton Long Beach. The Congress will feature technology highlights of our Congress in Columbus earlier this fall. It is important to use that all our members are able to access this information prevalent to the advancement in the industry. The event will kick off with a cocktail reception on January 18 and lead into a full day of presentations on January 19. The Congress will be sponsored by a limited number of Suppliers that attendees will be able to meet with to learn more about products and services available to the die casting industry.
